Co-Ordinator Message

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,
India, a paragon of the rich blending and assimilation of kaleidoscopic cultural, social traditional lingual and ethnic groups nurturing wide ranging customs and religious practices offered a cozy alcove for Christianity to blossom and flourish under the awning of the apostolate of StThomas. Those who believed his word and got baptized were known as mar Thomas Christians. His life and mission in madras culminated in his martyrdom, but Christianity in Madras can trace its origin from the Ist century onwards leaving behind a prestigious and noble legacy. Know more abut mar Thomas Christians acknowledged as syro Malabar church in Chennai and understand that it is neither an ethnic group nor a linguistic fraction, but it is one of the autonomous churches in the catholic church. Many of the misunderstandings are perpetrated by some ignorant people.
This website is to spread the knowledge, news, information’s, events etc. to our people. The syro Malabar church in Chennai is flourishing day by day in the midst of trials and tribulations. We believe in word so our master “I am with you always to the close of the age” (mt.28.20) it is not the work of humans by it is the unbeatable power of the Holy spirit. I wish and pray that this website of syro Malabar church in Chennai will be of great use to impart right knowledge about the church and her mission and vision
